Disciplinary Committee (DC)
The Disciplinary Committee (DC) of B.R. Institute of Technology and Management Sciences (BRITMS) has been constituted to maintain discipline, decorum, and ethical conduct among students and staff within the campus. The Committee works to ensure a peaceful and conducive academic environment and to uphold the values of respect, responsibility, and accountability among all members of the institution.
Objectives
- To ensure proper discipline and conduct among students and staff.
- To prevent and address any act of indiscipline, misconduct, or violation of college rules.
- To maintain a harmonious and academic atmosphere on the campus.
- To guide students toward responsible behaviour and adherence to institutional values.
Functions & Responsibilities
- To monitor and regulate student behaviour and discipline within the college premises.
- To inquire into cases of indiscipline and recommend appropriate actions.
- To counsel students on ethical and professional conduct.
- To frame and implement disciplinary rules and codes of conduct.
- To ensure maintenance of decorum during college events and examinations.
